If You Only Knew…

Eczema is often dismissed as a rash – but for those of us who live with eczema 24/7, we know it can feel like a living nightmare. What would you like others to know about your eczema?

On 14 September 2023, we mark World Atopic Eczema Day. This is a significant day when we raise awareness about eczema, globally. The theme this year is “If you only knew…..”

  • If you only knew how much it stings.
  • If only you knew it’s not contagious.
  • If you only knew it’s not just an itch on my skin, it affects everything.
  • If you only knew in the Summer, everything hurts, itches and you scratch until you bleed.

We invite you to submit your comments via the form below, attaching any photos you would like to share. By equipping people with knowledge and understanding, we can nurture a world of empathy and care.

Submissions close on Thursday 7th September. We will combine the submissions and release a special video on World Atopic Eczema Day, Thursday 14th September.

Together we can foster greater understanding of this chronic disease.
