Why this approach is different

Words matter.

The language we use when talking about treatment can shape how children experience it. These resources are designed to:

  • Normalise treatment without assuming fear
  • Offer children age-appropriate choices
  • Build confidence gradually
  • Support emotional regulation without amplifying anxiety
  • Encourage connection between parent and child

Rather than focusing on worry, these tools help children learn practical coping skills in a calm and supportive way.
