Our Story. Our Inspiration.
Eczema SUPPORT Australia was inspired by a family with twin boys who have severe allergies and eczema. Thanks to the initiative and drive of a friend, this family finally received wonderful community support, which has made all the difference and inspired the creation of Eczema Support Australia.
Since then, the organization has gone from strength to strength, and has been built on the core belief that all families and individuals dealing with these chronic conditions deserve our community support.
We understand the challenges of dealing with chronic eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis. We also understand the challenges of living with other atopic or allergic conditions.
Eczema Support Australia was created to provide support to Australians who are significantly impacted by these conditions.
Eczema Support Australia (ESA) will be Australia’s leading support organisation for health professionals, patients and carers dealing with chronic eczema.
We exist to:
- Connect Australians affected by eczema so that no one dealing with eczema feels isolated or alone.
- Inform and educate Australians affected by eczema so they are equipped to cope with the condition.
- Advocate for practical support to improve the lives of Australians affected by eczema.
